The Spider Farmer SF2000 is a good all-around LED light. We use this light for starting seeds in late winter when the threat of frost is a big possibility of killing the young seedlings. This light is brighter than I expected. I know that it is not as good as a High Pressure Sodium (HPS) light, but the price to run it makes a difference! The light comes with its electrical ballast, and it plugs into a standard home wall socket. The light comes with its hanging hardware and is good to go straight out of the box. The light doesn’t generate too much heat, either, so controlling the temperature in the growing area is a lot easier than before with the HPS light. All-in-all, a really good, dependable light. I would recommend this light to almost anyone that loves to garden, it is a must-have for people that want to grow year-round indoors and out.
