Why CBD Might Not Be Working for You
Some people talk about CBD as though it’s a miracle treatment. Unfortunately, that’s just not realistic. Like anything else, CBD has limitations and complexities. A CBD product that works great for one person may not be ideal for the next person.
If you’re not experiencing the results you hoped for, here are some reasons why CBD might not be working for you. Hopefully, this can help you find a solution!
Reason #1: You Haven’t Been Taking It for Very Long
CBD doesn’t usually produce immediate results the first time you use it. Some CBD users find that it takes several days or weeks to notice anything. The first few times you use CBD, you might not feel any different – but after several doses, you may start noticing the effect on your mind and body. It takes patience and persistence, so keep taking it every day!
Reason #2: Your CBD Isn’t What You Thought It Was
These days, there are countless options when it comes to CBD. Not all the brands out there are reputable, though. If your CBD is not third-party-lab tested, then it’s likely not as potent as it claims to be.
You should only buy a CBD product if you can verify its lab test results. It’s also a good idea to go with well-established, well-reviewed brands. Research the brand before you buy and make sure that it seems trustworthy and reputable. You won’t have to worry when shopping at Cannaporium. We work to source only the most reputable brands, and EVERYTHING in our store has been third-party lab tested!
Reason #3: Your Dosage Needs to Be Adjusted
It’s generally recommended for CBD users to start with a lower dosage and increase it over time until they figure out what works for their needs. Depending on the severity and type of your symptoms, you may find that your dosage varies greatly from your friend or family member’s preferred dosage. Everyone’s metabolism, biochemistry, and genetics are different, and this can affect the amount of CBD that they need to feel results. If you suspect that your dosage is the problem, then increase your dosage or find a more concentrated product.
Reason #4: You Need a Different Method for Your Symptoms
What are your struggles? Are they physical symptoms, such as joint pain or headaches? Or are you trying to manage your stress or other mental symptoms? Depending on your symptoms, you’ll find that some delivery methods/intake methods may work better than others.
A topical product might be great at reducing inflammation in your skin and may even reduce joint pain, but it’s not the best for soothing anxiety. If you’re not having luck with capsules or gummies (which need to be digested) then try an easier-to-absorb method like vaping or sublingual tinctures.
Do Any of These Reasons Resonate With You?
Hopefully, you have a better idea of how to move forward now! It can be frustrating if CBD isn’t working for you as well as you hoped, but perhaps you can make some tweaks to your routine and figure out a solution before you give up on CBD altogether.
