The Air-Pot® is a recyclable, reusable plastic container that actively enhances the quality of the root systems of plants. This revolutionary approach to containerizing plants and trees produces fabulous, non-spiraling root systems that are impossible to develop in any other available container.

Made of recycled HDPE in the UK, the Air-Pot® is circular in shape with a perforated sidewall.  There are no flat surfaces due to the inward and outward pointed cones, which eliminates any chance of starting the spiraling process as well as dramatically increases growth rates.

Additional oxygen in the growing medium leads to healthy bacteria which release more nutrients to the plant. For plants to thrive they need healthy roots, but standard pots deform roots and this seriously compromises the health of the plant.

Air-Pot containers do the opposite, actively enhancing the plant by making it develop a mass of healthy fibrous roots. This maximizes the ability to absorb nutrients and water leading to faster growth.

COMPOST

The Air-Pot container is just one part of a total growing system. To reap all its potential benefits it is essential to use a suitable compost mix and give the plant sufficient water.

Lack of aeration and poor drainage are big problems when growing in traditional containers. However, no such problems exist with the Air-Pot system. Increased oxygenation means that the compost can be compacted in the containers without becoming anaerobic. More compost means more nutrients for the plant.

HYDRO

Air-Pot containers are just as effective with a range of different growing mediums. Whether you grow in expanded clay, rockwool, soilless, or with coco fiber your plants will develop fantastic roots.

WATER

The increased rate of growth and the much greater number of new white-tipped roots means Air-Pot® grown plants demand more moisture and nutrient. Managing this demand is fundamental to the success of the system. Ideally, Air-Pot® grown plants should be watered with a drip irrigation system and this is the preferred choice of professional growers. Simple inexpensive systems can now be obtained from garden centers. Hand watering is equally effective as there are two or more rows of uncut cones at the top of the container to form a water reservoir.
